Blitzhellion Cosplay is a post apocalyptic Snow White and her weapons put a huge smile on my face. Notice the apple red grenade and all of those blades. I can’t be sure but I think they’re named after the Seven Dwarfs! That is so much WIN!

Last but never least, Disney bound! Lady Damfino created this 50’s Snow White costume and I love it. A little rockabilly, a little beach, and a little pin up makes a whole lot of fun! Well done Lady Damfino, well done.

And as an added bonus, here’s a little peek into why I love Snow White so much. This is me! This photo of my mini Gillian self was snapped right after the most magical moment of my young life.
I’ve always been shy so meeting the princesses at Disney World was difficult even though I desperately wanted to. On this day I was hot, overstimulated, and I hadn’t managed to say hello to even one. I was standing in Cinderella’s castle and my mother was showing me the mosaics when we heard a commotion behind us. There was Snow White sweeping down the hallway and I was right in her way! There I was back against the wall and looking down when these yellow heels appeared right in front of me. I looked up into one of the kindest faces I had ever seen and then she bent down, cupped my face like a flower, and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I still remember how the fabric of her dress felt when she crouched to gave me a big hug.
It was… magical. All of those children there are she spoke to the shy little girl hiding against the wall. I will always be thankful for the actor that recognized the child that couldn’t step forward and knew she needed her most. I will always, always love Snow White. See that face up there? That little kid felt important and that is a big thing. A very big thing. Thank you Snow White.
